COUPLING OF THE MALE ADAPTOR WITH THE FEMALE COUPLER
1 Lift both Cam Assemblies on the Female Coupler upwards (See the Left Side of Figure 1) to an
Open position that they form an angle about 100°from the axis of the Female Coupler.
2 Insert the male Adaptor into the Female Coupler , while the Cam Assemblies stay in a horizontalPosition about 90° to the axis of the Female Coupler.
3 Press down both Cam Assemblies to a locking position, so that the Cam Assemblies are parallelto the axis of the Female Coupler (See the Right Side of Figure 1).During the process of pressing
the Cam Assembly, the T-pin of the Safety Cam slides along the circular circumferences of theCam-fastening-Ribs and falls into a semi-circular groove. The pressure applied by the spring
on the T-pin forces the T-pin to stay in the groove locking up the Safety Cam and assures that the
Male Adaptor and the Female Coupler are in engagement position. The internal pressure, thehammering of the fluid in the pipe connecting to the Male Adaptor and the Female Coupler, oreven the external vibration can not force the T-pin out of the groove, therefore, can not disen-gage the Male Adaptor from the Female Coupler.

DECOUPLING OF THE MALE ADAPTOR FROM THE FEMALE COUPLER Pull the pull-bar of the Safety Cam downwards to Disengage the T-pin from the groove.
1 Lift both Cam Assemblies upwards to a position that the Cam Assemblies form an angleabout 100°from the axis of the Female Coupler. During this process, the spring pressure will force the T-pin away from the groove to the chin position of the Cam.
2 Remove the Male Adaptor to disconnect the pipes.
